Ross brings his world-class skills to Royal on the Park through a stellar career having recently won the fiercely competitive Global Chef Challenge for the Pacific Rim region.
In early 2010, he will travel to Chile to do Australia proud and compete for first place amongst the world’s best Chefs.
The addition of Chef Howell’s genius to Royal on the Park means all banqueting guests can enjoy Modern Australian Restaurant quality food served with award-winning service and ignite a new fresh start for The Walnut Restaurant.
Ross has over 25 years experience as an Executive Chef at the helm of many high-end Brisbane Restaurants. Winning many accolades throughout his career, Ross has been recognized locally in winning the Queensland Chef of Chefs and received 2 prestigious Australian Gold Plate Awards.
Ross has also represented Australia at many International Culinary events such as the Bocuse D’or World Cuisine in Lyon, France and attending the International Culinary Olympics where he was awarded 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.
