Christopher Whitehead learned his trade with Gay Bilson and Janni Kyritsis at Berowra Waters Inn, and was then lured by Peter Doyle to work at Cicada, where he stayed for five years. He received his first hat in the SMH Good Food Guide in 2002 for his exceptional efforts at Bond Restaurant. For six years, Christopher was an executive chef at the Opera Bar before his love and appreciation for the diversity and history of food led him to Mad Cow.
